Not often do I sit down anymore to watch a movie, and I cannot remember anything made prior to 1985 that I haven't seen that I want to see.
  Here is a recommendation for you.  Trust me, it's good.

Almost as good as the first film this sequel is a classic of action movies 8.5/10

This one is as good as the first Die Hard and is another part of the great trilogy of the first three films. The ones that followed have some major issues. 9/10

The third one is my favourite actually...it's so damn brilliant in every way.

The fourth one was very good but suffered big time from the pg 13 rating...don't know what the fuck they were thinking?

The 5th was a letdown...it had no real plot at all...a real shame.

Still nowhere near as good as the first three, the fourth Die Hard was at least enjoyable. The fifth as you say was a huge letdown and really put a bullet in the franchise.

We watched Vivo on Netflix last night. It's a very sweet love story with some kid's stuff thrown in for the youngsters. But with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and vocal performances by both Miranda and Gloria Estefan, it's got the music down pat. The love story / adventure has some similarities with Pixar's Up, and this one stands on its own. If you liked Hamilton, you will very much enjoy Vivo. If there was too much hip and hop in Hamilton for your taste, this is round two, you might want to watch something else.

As kid-friendly movies go, however, this one has legs and i'd watch it multiple times if I was surrounded by demanding ankle-biters shouting "again, again!"

We went to see Jungle Cruise today. The Action, Comedy, Adventure based on the Disney theme park ride. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall, Jessie Plemmons and Paul Giamatti. Set during WWI, Lily (Blunt) and McGregor (Whitehall) are siblings who travel to the Amazon in search of a sacred healing plant with some clues as to where it is. Frank (Johnson) has a river boat which they try to hire for the journey. Nilo (Giamatti) is owed money by Frank while Prince Joachim (Plemmons) the son of the Kaiser also wants the flower for the war effort and has borrowed a submarine for the trip!

The film has inspiration in various older films: The African Queen, Indianna Jones and The Mummy (1999) spring to mind, but it is its own film for the most part. Plenty of action of course, some set peices are good if not the best ever. The comedy is funny, and the acting is good for this type of film. The chemistry between Blunt and Johnson is genuine and Plemmons has a lot of fun chewing up the scenery being the over-the-top baddy (think Ronald Lacey from Raiders of the Lost Arc).

I like the film, I like all the cast here, and while it is lacking in depth it is also a fun ride while it lasts. 8/10

don't ask too many questions, and finally this movie is worth seeing. Butler is good and it's always a pleasure to see Morena Baccarin again.

We all watched A League of Their Own last night. It's a fun baseball picture, not a lot of depth to it, but some nice montages.

IMO the best version of Alexandre Dumas' story.  A strong cast, elaborate designs, great camera shots and so much more that makes this film enjoyable. 9/10

Absolutely, I love that movie! Fantastic fun!

For me, though, my family night movie looks like it's going to be Legally Blonde. I have not seen this before, so I am trying to go into the experience with an open mind.

really really  good ! Once again Dinklage is perfect and Pike is icy as Hell  like never before.
A plot probably close to reality.
