Also Charger, just went back and had a look at your list which I pretty much agreed with but just realised you left Wasted Years out. I'm tipping that to make the list.

Yeah...I was thinking about that one too but honestly didn't think it would make it...but now it clear that because of the shorter voting time casual fans didn't get to vote and this might be bit more of actual fans listing...based on the two surprises here. So it is quite possible Wasted Years will also make it to the list.

It would be nice if the voting numbers would be revealed too on these but that's not the case...But based on what we are seeing I'd say much less voters now than on any of the previous rounds which were all pretty heavy on the "greatest hits" and now out of 3 only 1 of those.

Somewhere in Time is my favorite Iron Maiden album so pretty cool to me that they chose a tune off that album.

Caught Somewhere In Time was in MY personal top 10 list as well...love that track. The solos in particular are suberb.

Yeah great track. One of the best. Sea Of Madness is a song I love as well, so underrated that song.

While I predicted it would be there, the list so far has been somewhat underwhelming!

Well in all honesty so have all the others...

So far though I think Maiden has had the biggest "surprise" % so far...but I do believe it is because of the shorter voting time...not as much random greatest hits votes as on all the others.



I am already thinking about my Metallica lists...gotta do the same thing with them...a prediction list and own personal favourite which in their case again will look very different.
