I think the guy does a good job imitating late-era Sabbath tone, with early-era Sabbath song construction. But it lacks their signature swing. So, I assign it a grade of, "B".

I suppose it was going to happen sooner or later... but after 4½ years I've finally contracted COVID!

I was a little surprised, I wasn't feeling great for a couple of days but I didn't really have COVID specific symptoms. Anyway ordered some test kits to be on the safe side, they turned up a couple of hours ago and I did the test. I'm feeling pretty much normal now so I was a little surprised when it showed positive!!

Common cold has worse symptoms nowadays than Covid...that's bye gones now so not much to catch there anymore. Might play funky with your taste and smell buds later on though...but that's very normal and it passes quickly.

Welcome to the club....allthough it's a pretty big club and has very little benefits....

Thoughts of pain today...had a bit of a migraine....haven't had one in years and thought they might have been behind me but nope! There it was hitting me straight in the noggin!

Ouch! Getting allergies here and aching bones from the rain that's coming through.

Thankfully I don't suffer from weather-induced aches and pains. And I have never had a migraine headache, either.

But, to offset my lack of migraine experience, I do get cluster headaches about every five years or so over a period of about six months. When one of them starts coming on, I have about two minutes to go find someplace to hide out before it cranks on full-impact. Mine usually last no more than about ten minutes at a time, about three per day. Haven't had any for a long time...

Can't imagine those clusters being nice either... I suffer from frequent headaches myself...usually once a week at least...in various levels of severity.

Got some roller-coaster weather in Texas comin' up. Big swings in temperatures and precipitation, so that's going to play hell with my sinuses.

Ran across this old photo somewhere online the other day. I'm reminded that Huey Lewis did in fact have a pretty tight relationship with Phil Lynott right up to Phil's demise. Seeing Mr. Lewis in those digs still causes my brain to not compute, given his look when he and his band hit it big.

Was talking to Mario Cipollina (the old bass player in the News) about this picture and he is going to try and look for some he thinks he still has from their time with Thin Lizzy. Might have some cool stuff to post at some point. Or not - he's a pretty cool dude, but we're not best friends or anything and he has a strong laid-back approach to...most things lol.

It's so cool to see rockers hanging out together with other bands. Genuine fraternal feelings there.
