Seriously, though, sounds like they're ready to play together again, and that's a good thing.

It'll be kind of cool I guess...but ultimately bit pointless. I wonder will they be playing the songs with 3 guitars then or will Marty force Kiko off stage for those songs?

Megadeth are having a pick a song thing on their facebook page where fans can request one song to be played at the live stream....I ponder will they pick the one that gets most votes from Marty's era...

Sounds like they’ll have 3 guitarist on stage. It’ll be cool to see Marty jamming with Dave again. Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls and either Symphony of Destruction or Sweating Bullets will be the 3 songs I think.

So most likely the band will play their usual set and then bring out Marty for an extended set of encores... Symphony, Sweating and Holy Wars sound about right...would be cool if they'd throw in a rarity of somekind too...but probably not.

Been following a thread of this Budokan show with Marty in real time and a lot are commenting how killer sounding the show is and is one of the best live Megadeth shows they’ve heard.

Yeah I got messed up with the Timezone as well. They posted it in US EST and my conversion was was out which had it on in the middle of the night my time and subsequently thought it was going to be prerecorded fixed up and shown a few hours later. I knew Tokyo was only a couple of hours behind Melbourne time.

Apparently Marty played Countdown, Tornado and Symphony with them.

Interesting...Countdown was a bit of a surprise...but that he did not join for Holy Wars is pretty strange....

I saw some of the performance, but it was a horrible recording and you couldn't hear Dave's  voice very well.

Indeed. And it's also really nice to see them enjoying eachother on stage again...and Dave giving Marty the center stage for his solos.

I watched the full show yesterday morning. Great performance, the band is a well oiled machine at this point. Also as Charger said, was awesome they gave Marty the spotlight during his solos.
