The Halloween Thread

Me and my wife had a fun time sitting on the porch, handing out candy. It was a cool night, hardly a mosquito to be found. We had plenty of candy in the tub, so we had the kids take 3 each, because that adds up to one king-size candy when you do the choco-math.

I had some great oldies at first and then got goth-ier as the night deepened and the crowd got older.

One of my faves is The Crystals' "Frankenstein Twist"

Glad they had that station wagon, otherwise one or two of them would have had to stay behind while the rest went uptown.

Starting this week is when I see LOTS of ads for Christmas tunes in Cashbox. Christmas was starting early even back in the day!
