I wasn't judging her by race or by religion...

I was judging her because she is a piece of dog shit that trivializes the death of over 3000 people into "some people did something"....Anyone who does that is a dog shit in my book...no matter the race, the sex, the religion or anything.

Why must you always make everything to be about race or religion? Stupid behaviour honestly. Some people are just pieces of shit period.

I'm going to stop posting in these threads, and I'm of the mind that maybe it's time to close the book on this experiment of political discussions. I'd like to come here to talk about music, sports, personal news, travel, stuff like that. I'm not enjoying the round-and-round threads, and I think we'd all be better off to move on to lighter topics. I know that there are members here who already steer clear of the political stuff, and I'm going to join with them.

I'm thinking of the firemen and policemen involved in the rescues. I'm glad to see that Jon Stewart was able to help them get Congress to cover their ongoing medical bills that came from their sacrifices.

Lots of this on the TV today... the first story on news broadcasts. And Documentaries have been shown all week.

These anniversaries are important occassions to remind us that there is evil in the world, and we shouldn't forget the many victims.

Watched the 6 part national geographic doco “9/11 One day in America” this week and still got very anxious leading up to the first plane hitting. The whole doco is chilling and makes for uncomfortable viewing which still to this day has a profound impact on me.

Got my 14yo daughter to watch part one and she was in tears listening to the recorded messages from people ringing home from both the hijacked planes and from inside the towers telling their families how much they loved them.

I love New Yorkers. Toughest people on earth.

I'm dealing with a lot of stress, so I made a hard pass on reliving the news footage of the actual attacks and all that.

But I made time for the memorial. Some things you simply must do.
