Some great guitar rock and the vocalist has a nice rasp in his voice. Great proto-metal sound out of Philly. The rock out at many tempos, lots of fun to listen to.


Godsleep: https://godsleep.bandcamp.com/album/coming-of-age-2

Another fine Greek band. Something's in the water over there, I tell ya. Great scene and this band knows what to do with it.


Both of these are in my Xmas Bandcamp shopping cart, along with the latest from Holy Grove and Deep Space Destructors.

Thank you, I have been drinking the bandcamp kool-aid lately. I have been trying to support the lesser known  artists that deserve it lately. I am working on my collection but it is nothing like yours  ZZZ.

You can really load up on albums that are "name your price" cheap, I've found.

But I'll still pay normal price when the album is a solid piece of work.

^^ Was just gonna post in the best albums of 2018 thread how very little new bands catch my ear these days. But this is exactly what I've been looking for. Melodic with classic old school heavy riffage with a very listenable singer. Will be delving deeper into Haunt. Thanks for alerting me to this.

No problem Jack. I heard about this band through the doom metal band Beastmaker and ShadowKingdom records. One of my favorite labels because they release forgotten relics like the old Pagan Altar stuff.

If you find a YouTube channel that features the full album, chances are that channel will also have a ton of similar albums to flip through, which will expose more new bands.
