Help / Hurt Game: Sabbath Versus Sabbath

Since just about everyone here is a Black Sabbath fan, we pretty much can conclude that a Black Sabbath album is a lock to win any other Help/Hurt game. So, let's have one for just the Sabbath albums.

Rules are easy for this one. All Sabbath albums are nominated, but in different eras. Only studio albums are up for consideration.

Take away 2 from one and give 1 to another.

Special rules:

1. Albums are divided by eras. You can vote in each era, but the help/hurt must stay in that era. In other words, you cannot hurt a Martin album to help an Ozzy album. Ozzy vs Ozzy, Dio vs Dio, everyone else vs everyone else.

2. If you don't want to vote in an era, don't vote in that era.

3. You can take points from an album and still love it. As Bill Ward sang, "It's all right..."

4. Dio era will include "The Devil You Know", even though it was a Heaven and Hell album, but the band is the same as was on 2 other albums, so... yeah...

I propose that once an album hits 0 points, that we leave it on the list, but move it to its overall ranking in that group. So, when TDYK drops out, change it to "4th place". Next Dio-era to drop would be 3rd place, and so on.

That way, we have The Community Official Guide to Black Sabbath Records.
