Game Of Throne , episode 4 season 8.

Another big shock for me this last evening . All this drama will end in tragedy ...
Too bad.

I've no idea where this is going, who will win, or how... it's great!

But there have been some sad deaths in the last two episodes - not unexpected - but still sad.

I still can't believe that the big, expressionless guy with blue eyes was eliminated so quickly with all his friends.
a wait of 7 seasons for that? WTF 1

Palme d' Or  of acting for Cercei! she remains standing still since the 3 episodes when she appears in this last season !! WTF 2

But this last season, despite notable imperfections, is just fantastic. This one deserves 10 x 90 mn episodes .

KDC, I don't know if you follow the theories circulating on the net, but do you believe this hypothesis to see an armored Drogon attacked King's landing and Euron Greyjoys boats ?
A return of Rhaegal is also envisaged (though very unlikely).
All these theories have been proposed following the trailer of episode 5 showing Euron blaming while looking towards the sun while hearing one (more?) Howls of dragon(s).

Can't wait.

I've not been following the gossip, life's too short as it is! ;)

I want to see the back of Euron Greyjoy more than I want to see the back or Cersei!!

I'm not sure there is any coming back for Rhaegal... but in GoT who knows!

Some sort of armour for Drogon would be sensible, it is very vulnerable against those balista.

Are you up to date with GoT, wondering what you thought of Episode 5, I don't want to post any possible spoilers.

Jamie Lannister (Nikolai Coster-Waldau) had his hand cut off in (I think) series 3 and since then has had a golden prosphetic hand. There are scenes where he learns to use a sword with his left hand but he is never that great with it. But his hand did not grow back at any point. There is very little magic in the series, although another character was brought back from the dead.

I saw the fifth episode last night . My God, madness, mass killing, revenge,  death and fire everywhere.
I don'tt want to divulge too many things but it's sad to see Daenerys falling into melancholy and paranoia. Jon Snow continues to be inconsistent in this final season. Strange. Tyrion seems to be best placed to be crowned.
Incredible episode, despite few improbabilities from the last to this one.

I think it's only you and I who are watching it, but if I'm wrong anyone else should stop reading now as there will be

!!!!SPOILERS!!!!

This is the first episode this season where I've felt it didn't quite work for me. I know Deanerys was pissed off, but it was with Cersei, Euron, her advisors and to a lesser extent her army. Yes, destroy the palace, but how does destoying everything else in the city including the innocent citizens make any sense whatsoever even if she is derranged.

I think the problem with Jon Snow is he's conflicted between his love for her, his disgust at her actions and wanting to do the right thing which will upset Deanerys... you don't want to upset Deanerys. Tyrion is probably no longer on her side and will help to overthrow her. Arya has probably added Deanerys to her "list".

A video on IMDb today suggests that Jon, Tyrion and Arya will probably unite to defeat her, suggesting that Arya may try to kill Drogon at which point Deanerys is helpless.

The fight between The Hound and The Mountain was pretty good, I can't help thinking the fight between Euron and Jamie should have been short and 1-sided in Euron's favour, and Cersei's death was a little unsatisfactory. Actually apart from my big gripe about Deanerys's actions I really enjoyed the episode.

Re. destroy the entire city, including innocent citizens - that stuff didn't have to make sense. Sacking cities like that happened quite often in history. Remember that Martin's inspiration for the series started with the War of the Roses in England and all this stuff falls into place.

Well.... personally I have always been on the side of Daenerys from the beginning. Her journey was so long, painful, full of sacrifices and revelations.
considering her extreme pain accumulated from day to day since his arrival on Westeros: Cercei's Betrayal after the Council following the battle against the undead, tragic loss of 2 Dragons, Aborted Love with Jon, violent loss of Missadei, little or no Recognition of the Stark in response to her help to save Winterfell, Varys' betrayal, she could only react that way, backed by Missandei's last wish.
The destruction of Kings Landing was perhaps useless but inevitable.
The final duel of the enemy brothers Clegane lacked epic breath and space. This duel on the stairs deserved better. Ditto for this curious fight between Jaime and Euron coming out of the water after several hundred meters of swimming. Just at the right time and in the right place.
Cercei has always seemed completely inert since the beginning of this season. Too bad.
Guessing Daenerys' final fight against all the others, it's hard to understand Arya because the young queen has finished eliminating the last names on her list and has never shown philanthropy until now. And yet, indeed, she will play a role in the disappearance of the Mother of Dragons. I tend to think that Drogon will let himself die once his dead mistress, as he almost did with his brother Rhaegal shortly after they arrived in the North. Something very sad to watch, as Sophie Turner has announced.
In the end, Tyrion played the game very well.
Amazing tv show !!
