Most people's left butt cheek would be a better vocalist than Kurt Cobain ever was.

He sang with true emotion, not a fake acted one like these guys mentioned here. I could just as easily've said Ozzy, James Hetfield, Lemmy, Axl Rose or Phil Anselmo. But i couldn't think of anyone more diametrical opposite than Cobain.

I'm with you! I do think Dio was a fantastic singer, but he did seem to put on airs while singing, trying to sound "mean" and such. Especially on Dehumanizer. Always liked Cobain's voice, reminds me of John Wetton at times.
