I'll agree with no Sabbath is to be nominated except for Martin era because they'll never win anyway

Seriously though, if there is to be no Sabbath, then no Purple and Zeppelin then...

Well neither of those bands would be an automatic win (like we just sadly saw with Purple) but throw in an early Sabbath album there is no doubt it would win. So I wouldn't exclude those bands.

ZZZ had some good suggestions. But I don't think we need to go to such extremes as picking just obscure albums either...it is clear already that we all think different albums are great or bad.

Maybe we could shorten this a bit though with lets say 15 bands...as it did take almost 2 months to complete this one...?

I Think 20 is a good number, particularly if new members join which would mean a quicker game. Seeing Sabbath will be excluded from future games maybe every so often we could have just a Sabbath game? Would be interesting to see which album would would win now Sabotage is ineligible to be nominated being a previous winner.

As for Dozys suggestions, i myself must say i'm done with a band H&H, i think we pretty much went through all possibilities back at the other place, even though being a smaller and somewhat different group now would probably make for some different outcomes. A "rare album" game i think, as been said, might become too narrow. The other ideas seem to've been started, so on they go.

But about the amount of band/albums and starting points for each round, yes 20/20 did take a long time now. Would be fine with more participants, but until then i think it might be a good idea with less albums or points. Just my two cents, though.
