How I Came to be Here, and not Somewhere Else

So, I was minding my own business at another place, and having a pretty good time.  :headbanger:

And then this guy said some stuff and I was like  :shock: "Totally uncool, man", and then I was like  :nono: and I did something about it.  :redcard: Thought everything was cool after that and I could chill again.  :yes:

But then this other dude was all like, "Hey bud, what's your problem?" And then he was all like harassing and stuff and then I had to say

 :aggression:

and some people who didn't like that dude were all

 :applause:

But then one dude said maybe we need a new place to hang and chill and I was like  :udontsay:

That was pertinent to my interests... so we made the new place and we were all like  :pub: and  :rockon: and even a little  :smug:

And then I blew up the forums with a mis-edit and was all like  :frustration: but then this other dude fixed it and I was like  :wootwoot: and  :thankyou:

Meanwhile, back at the other place, it was like

 :explosion1:

And then the guy that got kicked out came back and was all like

 :myfun:

And some people tried to let others know about the new place and this one guy was all

 :disappoint:

And then he was like

 :kiwf:

And then the place was like

 :fail1:

And then I was like, well, I'm not going back there and was like

 :dealwithit:

And now I'm here and if you don't think I'm here, well, then I'm going to be like

 :opinion:

And that's the way it is, dude.

So how did you come to be here and not somewhere else?

When I was about 8 years old, there was a kid my age who lived up the road. I'd go up there and we'd do what 8 year-olds do, but he always had to have things his way and whenever I would leave he'd get pissy. I can remember thinking that it was pretty weird. Then one day he didn't just get pissy when I was leaving, he yelled at me.

That was the last time I went up to his place, and not too long afterwards his family moved away. Apparently to TEXAS!

Then I ended up at this forum. Strange how things work out.
