Hard to read the band name - is it "Tankard"?

Yes, it is Tankard. Some great Thrash with a bit of comedy on most songs.

Giving it a go right now and you got a +1 from me for putting me on to it, Thel!

Hopefully they’ve fixed the poor overdubbing job they did on Joey’s vocals first time around.

What song was overdubbed? I assume they had some sound problems on the stream...? It happens unfortunately...

The stream wasn’t live, it was prerecorded and they went back and overdubbed some of Joeys vocals where he wasn’t cutting it and they did a poor job of doing it. Probably due to time constraints and rushing it.

Listening to this a lot lately. I know the band hates it and they feel like this was their Black Album attempt. I still love the massive riffs that are strewn throughout the record. I remember getting it when it was released but instantly sold it after one listen. I really did not give it much of a chance and am glad I was able to appreciate it later in life. Obviously not among their best but I like it anyway  :partay:

Metallica payed tribute to Jonny and Marsha Zazula this past week by playing a somewhat intimate gig at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida only honouring songs from their Megaforce years 83/84.

Also played this rarity

I have to take a moment to talk about DEATH ANGEL here...

I've been listening to their stuff a lot lately and I'm just loving it!

Mark's vocals are great! He is a really good singer...one of the best in thrash I'd say...not quite up there with Joey Belladonna who obviously is THE best singer in Thrash there's no contest as he is a PROPER singer but Mark is actually pretty close. He's got a great range and lots of depth to his voice.

I don't have all of their stuff yet as some is bit hard to find...but out of what I got I'd say THE EVIL DIVIDE is the cream of the crop...that album is just pure brilliance. There aren't many thrash albums from the past decade that can match that I think...Megadeth's Thirteen and Dystopia are great and Anthrax's Worship Music is great and I think The Evil Divide is right up there with them for sure...

Then I'd say
Relentless Revolution
The Dream Calls For Blood
Humanicide
Act III
Killing Season

Although I've only listened the final two just few times so those need more time to sink in....but with Evil Divide it was instant! BOOM this album kicks ass. I love when that happens. For me it's getting more and more rare nowadays so that makes it that much more special.

I gotta give a shout out to Thel for recommending this band!

I owe you one brother!

This song right here is my absolute favourite! Everything here is damn near pure perfection!
