Back in 1976, David & Homer Bellamy came out with one of the absolute best feel-good post-coital songs the world has ever known.

Now that my big rig is upstairs, despite their distance, my neighbors are enjoying it, too.

And if someone looked in one of my windows, they'd see a guy dancing like he was at a concert.

No YouTube slop through my speakers - but posted here so even those far away can enjoy it as well! I'm thoughtful and shit.

I recall that tune... be sure to open your windows so your neighbors don't need to through bricks through them to hear the tunes better! :D

I'm working on the new Deep Purple album. First two tracks sound very familiar... oh, wait, those were the pre-release tracks! I'm already liking it better than =1.

Now that one's up my Saturday alley! Since today's the anniversary of the Roswell Incident and there are a whole lot more early rock and roll songs about rockets, flying saucers, and the like, I went with that as my theme for today's show. In the course of it all, I played one song that is pretty dang metal for 1959...



In case "The Nite Riders" isn't outer space enough, it *was* on the Rocket label!  :headbanger:

First song, first side, first LP from Dire Straits back in 1978. Down to the Waterline's opening guitar work foreshadowed the type of musical artistry that would eventually make them one of the most successful bands in history.
