Isn't Stranger Things more of a supernatural show? Haven't seen it...

It is more supernatural, but I'll take what I can get.

Just finished the first episode of Season 2 of The Orville...Funny as ever. Maybe not the best episode choice for a season opener but still good non the less! Can't wait to see what's ahead!

@ Charger:  watched a good episode of The Orville last night in which it was discovered that there were Moclan females being smuggled to a hidden planet.  Could have done without the Dolly Parton music during the battle scenes, though.

I'll put a note in for 1983 on Netflix. It's a Polish series, but has an English-language track. I go with Polish and subtitles because:

A) I often watch these things on airplanes, so having subtitles helps if the engines are loud.
B) I like it better when the characters say "kurwa". :)

@ Charger:  Pretty good Orville episode last night.  After some type of time warp experiment, another Kelly appears on the ship from 7 years ago, which was right after the Commander had his first date with her.

Finally getting up to speed with my Orville. Only the season finale left.

This episode was great and so was the previous one with the female moclans. I loved that Dolly Parton song in the fight scene that was so unexpected! And Dolly's always awesome.

There is a lot of speculation about the Orville now...Fox will announce the renewals next week...sadly it seems that The Gifted (which might just be the best Marvel show after Agents Of Shield) won't get a third season and The Orville is in the bubble as well...it could sadly go either way. I soooooo hope it would get another season...hell I'd love it to get 5 more seasons! The show out does Star Trek in being Star Trek...which is awesome...and more to the point Sanctuary was a real Star Trek episode...directed by Jonathan Frakes, Produced by Brannon Braga, Guest Starring Marina Sirtis, F Murray Abraham, Tony Todd and Ron Canada...which was like pure gold to any Trekkie. Loved that!

I've never been a Star Trek fan, but after last nights hockey game ended, I stumbled upon an episode that I remembered from decades ago because it was the only one I liked very much.  It was called Balance Of Terror.
