Yeah Kane is not gonna live that one down. England were the better team between the boxes, although France did have the better chances.

Let’s hope France and Argentina can get it done and set up a classic final between two of the worlds best teams.

Regarding Kane, I don't think the Media will be on his back tomorrow, he's nearly bullet-proof over here, but I suspect the odd troll or imbecile on social media might weigh in.

Kane did manage to equal the England goal scoring record tonight, and could have passed it.

Croatia vs Argentina

Well this should be an interesting match...If history repeats itself (once again) this ought to be a tie...and all the way to the penalty kicks...I hope it won't go that far but that Croatia would score during the extra time and be done with it.

As much as I respect Messi as a player the guy seems to be a total asshole (as evident in the Netherlands game and the aftermath) so I do NOT want him to win the championship.

That would be the ultimate nightmare.

I've spoken to a lot of people online (and few work buddies) who enjoy footsy and everyone has hated Morocco...EVERYONE!


It was interesting to see the post match footage today. A lot of Argentinians went over to shake hands and hug the croatian players...even DiMaria came out of his way to give Modric a hug...but not Messi. He was hugging his fellow argentinians only...and then Modric kind of just cut the line and Messi gave him a hug and then looked at who he was hugging and quickly turned away to another Argentinian...it was like he didn't know he accidentally hugged Modric! It was kind of funny but also just solidified what Messi really is...

Haven’t heard anyone say anything negative about Messi post match. Only heard praise for his performance and the way he’s played throughout the World Cup. A stark contrast to the barrage of negativity around Ronaldo and the way he’s conducted himself in the last couple of months. It’s quite sad actually…
