It is not a Chinese folk-song!
What do you mean by "world-music"?

Often, if it's not sung in English, it's world music. More often, if it's not rock and roll and not sung in English, it's world music.

Didn't you just post Tang Dynasty, who plays Rock (Metal) and sing in English?

There's ALOT of music that's not Rock or sung in English that's not World Music. I think my definition above is a pretty good one...

Tang Dynasty sings in Mandarin. If you heard English, you need to find a place to sit down and ride out that monster high you've got.

I know i've heard live clips of them singing in English, but be damned if i couldn't find any of those right now... 

Ok, so Manu Chao, then, who sings in pretty much every language there is, including English. Or as i mentioned, Orphaned Land.
My whole point was ofcourse; there is World Music in English, not singing in English doesn't make it World Music...

And i haven't been high for a week and a half, btw...

World music (also called global music or international music) is a musical category encompassing many different styles of music from around the globe, which includes many genres including some forms of Western music represented by folk music, as well as selected forms of ethnic music, indigenous music, neotraditional music, and music where more than one cultural tradition, such as ethnic music and Western popular music, intermingle.

It's not necessarily folk music as such, but a mix of types of music from different parts of the world.

Tang Dynasty i would call World Metal... Orphaned Land too.

For me as a purebred Russian folk-music means authentic folk-tunes.

True, and the Hawaiian one is what I would consider world music, but "Pen Pineapple Apple Pen" is not.

This one's for Charger - I looked up the start of rock in Finland and found a 12-year-old kid, Vesa Enne, and that cat can lay it down!

That last one is a hoot... you don't have to speak Finnish to know what's going on at the end!  And, yes, you know me enough to know that I really do love finding this musical history. It's fun and the music's really good in most cases.
