Man Ian still sounds crazy good! At the age of 77!

Also Gotta say Simon McBride is doing a great job on the guitar! He is very very different from Steve but he manages to convey just as much emotion with his playing.

Thanks for posting that Charger - noticed that whoever was running the live sound kind of lost it here and there (i.e. at 2:26), but the band sounded great. Gillan has obviously taken good care of his voice over the years, and you're right about McBride. Definitely a different feel than Morse and damn good at what he does.

Great performance, good one on the gramps with amps! And very interesting how McBride can get Fender-like sounds out of his guitar when he needs to.

Great performance.  I also watched Pictures of Home from the same concert.  It's very admirable that the 40% of the current lineup that wasn't part of the writing and recording during the MH album sessions can play those songs so impeccably.

McBride has incredible guitar skills. I like his feel much more than Morse. He was also in Sweet Savage who was Vivian Campbell’s first band before he joined Dio. What is it about Irish guitar players?

What an amazing preformance! I love how Simon makes the riffing bit heavier here...and Ian...holy moses! The man turns 78 in less than a month and he sounds this GOOD...it's crazy!

They did. And when they switched to an all-American rock-and-roller, they told Bolin to play note for note like Blackmore. Such a waste, the guy was lightning in a bottle in his own way.

Besides, he was playing a Gibson, totally different sound from a Strat.
