One of my favorite horror stories, I came to it by way of HP Lovecraft's critical praise of the work. I concur that such praise is justified, and Arthur Machen is indeed a master of weird horror. It's free for the reading, and short enough for one sitting. If you haven't yet read it, you owe it to yourself to give it a perusal.
