Ozzy Cancels the rest of his 2019 tour after a fall at home

 The Prince of Darkness has been forced to push his 2019 tour dates back a year.

Due to injury, Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to cancel all his 2019 tour dates postponing them until 2020.

The former Black Sabbath frontman has had to cancel this year's stint of shows in North America and Europe due to a fall in his LA home which aggravated injuries he picked up during an ATV accident back in 2003 resulting in the Grammy Award-winner needing surgery.

Under doctors orders he will be recovering at home and not performing this year but the music legend released a statement expressing his disappointment for having to reschedule the tour dates.

The Prince of Darkness said: “I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates”

“Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”

Campaign launched calling for Ozzy Osbourne to be knighted

A tweet from his official account read: "OZZY will postpone all his tour dates as he recovers from injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. Ozzy fell at his Los Angeles home aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery. Shows will be rescheduled beginning in Feb 2020"

I wasn't really surprised to hear this...actually I would have been surprised if the tour had gone on as planned.

However I am bit surprised that such a long postponement is even possible...I would have just imagined a full on cancelation and then restart with it all again later this year...


I do have to say that Ozzy should have just call it quits with this now. The pneumonia scare was a big deal and now other injuries...he isn't a young man anymore and next year he'll be even older again...And he isn't as fit and as in good shape like Ian Gillan or Alice Cooper....

I wonder if Sharon has just upped his life insurance and only given him a one-way ticket!

In all seriousness I really hope Ozzy can get strong again and continue do what he loves to do. He lives for getting out and being able to entertain for the masses. I fear for him if he has that taken away from him forever.

I think that's a good choice.

Ozzy is in the point now where, if he wants to have a good quality life, he needs to get proper treatment and medications.

He needs to simply retire from touring now, just like Glenn Tipton did.

He can still make new music if he wants to but I do believe his touring days are now over.
