I voted, but my absolute favourite from '82 is Pagan Altar - Judgement of the Dead. It was only ever released in a limited quantity back then, and didn't see any sort of wider release until 1998 so it mightn't really count.

Sorry I missed that one Scott, I'm aware of Pagan Altar so definitely would've included it but it didn't come up in any of my research I did of 1982.

Anyway, we have our first joint winners with The Number Of The Beast and Screaming For Vengeance who will both go into the 80-89 final.

I'll endeavour to get the 1983 poll up and running in the next day or two.

I noticed Martin Popoff a guy who has a great knowledge of metal and who's opinion I respect very much has currently got a best albums of 1980 poll up on the BangerTV YouTube channel which people can vote on, but in the meantime I checked out the 1982 poll result and video and it pretty much mirrors our result besides a couple in a different order.
