Master Guitar player Craig Goldy has once again joined forces with his former DIO bandmates Rudy Sarzo and Simon Wright in DREAM CHILD!

Here's their new video and I'm gonna let that do the talking...all I can really say is that it is pretty amazing:

I've never even heard of Diego Valdez before but my god he sound fantastic...he reminds me of Ronnie a lot...not only by his voice but by the ammount of emotion he pours into the vocals...there aren't my singers out there that can even come close to the sheer ammount of emotion Ronnie had in his voice but Diego sure as hell comes pretty close here.

This is a very dear project for Craig in many ways from what I've heard from him and I gotta say I'm with this 100%...this pretty damn near blew my mind at least. Can't wait for the album.

Sounds just like hundreds of other generic and boring bands that have come before them if I'm being honest.

Singer sounds ok but he only adds to the generic nature of the song and he sounds too much like a Ronnie try hard. Also, it seems the riff well has well and truly run dry for dear old Craig Goldy at this stage of his career.

Another band that will go nowhere because they bring nothing new or fresh to the table. Video is awful as well.

Sorry, but it has no redeeming qualities about it at all. Upbeat and somewhat heavy doesn't make it good.

Yeah it was a bit harsh Charg. Sorry, didnt mean to rain on your parade. It's just that it takes a lot for new bands to impress me these days. I kinda just felt "yeah heard it all before" when listening to it. Nothing really stood out about it apart from the singer having a real RJD vibe to him.

It's not terrible music by any stretch, I just prefer new bands bring something different or have their own sound to stand out from everything else that's gone before them. I wish them nothing but the best.

I'm actually wandering why this singer isn't involved in Dio Disciples. Would be the perfect singer for that band.

Well I do sort of understand where you're coming from with this Jack...

This was never supposed to be anything super new cutting edge style but good old school rock...Craig has always said that he is a huge fan of Deep Purple and Rainbow and always wanted to do something to honor those bands but with a modern twist...I think this fits that mark pretty well.

This song has a very strong Rainbow feel to it and Craig's solo echoes back to Ritchie's prime...

Part from Jack ( ) this band has been getting some pretty good response so far which is great! Lots of people praise Diego's vocals...for a good reason I might add.

Can't say I'm hearing much Purple in it, more Dio solo. The singer imitates Ronnie quite well actually with his delivery and vocal phrasing. The keyboards sound a little out of place and forced to me and both songs are missing a catchy or memorable riff and strong melody.

Still not quite doing it for me. I am a fan of Goldy though. Always thought he was the best fit for Dio outside of Vivian Campbell.

Interesting stuff... but why the need to do the riff from Tubular Bells? I have to agree about the keyboards, they're not necessary.
