Ofcourse. We're the better site  :smug:
Have a stab at who's wandering why the singles from Master Of Reality weren't included

Just a shot in the dark, but could it be a self proclaimed "expert" or one of his disciples? :P

It's amazing he's not wondering why A Song For Jim isn't included... :P

And i still believe there's ALOT of stuff that could've made it on a disc 2 on deluxe editions of Vol 4 to NSD!, like the first three.

I agree with releasing 2 CD DE's, well, for Vol.4, SBS and Sabotage.  Also, I'm still hoping a remix of Born Again for another DE for that album will someday happen.

Why would She's Gone be on 2 of the discs?  Is that correct?   :glitch:

It is correct. She's Gone was the b-side for both Gypsy and Never Say Die...which is indeed odd to say the least.

Well that's crazy.  How can a song be a b-side of another from a different album?

I think I've seen it before with other bands, particularly those that, like Sabbath, didn't like releasing singles. I'd have to dig around to find the concrete examples, though.

Yeah I think was a regular occurrence in the 70's. Later on bands would put a live version of a song from a previous album most of the time.

The singles Metallica put out in the 90's was pretty cash cow. 4-5 different versions of the same single, just with different b-sides, mostly live songs (being CD-singles there was ofcourse several on each). And some early attempts at having CD-ROM content, i seem to remember. And with about the same ammount of singles pr. album, it quickly added up.
And why did they do it? Because they knew people would buy them anyway, to have a "full" collection...
