Just read that article, very well written and points very well argued.

Myself, I would add that most "soaps" used today are actually abrasive detergents that can impact the health of environmentally sensitive people. I stopped using them and switched over to Dr. Bronner's soaps a few years ago and I've noticed a positive difference in my overall health. To me, it stands to reason that our current rates of cancer have a lot to do with the chemicals we are exposed to on a daily basis. Skincare can be but one subset of those chemicals that we need to question the necessity of.

A ten step routine? That's just insane. Just smear some Preparation H on your wrinkles ladies and watch them disappear. The only skin care product I used (besides the usual of course) was a product called Hydro-lize. I have raccoon eyes and this product claimed it would reduce dark circles and was 100% natural. Whenever I applied it which was twice a day the fumes would burn my eyes for almost half an hour. After 4 days I returned the stuff for a full refund. Should have just gone to a Dermatologist.
