The best thing Iommi have done since the 70's. Gillan is amazing, Lord too as always, McBrain's playing better than he've ever done in Maiden and Newsted is doing his job properly. Lindström is lucky to get to ride along because he's dating Iommi's daughter. I would rather see an Iommi/Gillan album than Iommi/Hughes.

Hey! This should be in the Deep Purple category because Gillan!  :squint:

But I agree, this is an excellent set to acquire, and there are some great tracks to be had, including what I consider to be the best version of "Trashed" out there.

Well, the "album" was just a rehash of stuff already available elsewhere, exept this and the "b-side" Holy Water. But i want a REAL album.

Well, maybe after Big Ian is finished with the current DP tour, he and Tony will have some time to get a skiffle band together. :)

I looooooove this song! It is pretty much pure perfection.

I do hope Ian and Tony would make one more album together but frankly I am not sure time is on their side anymore...Purple's long goodbye will take a while and if Tony starts work on a solo album before that's over it might push it further away...

But let's hope...

Tony's solo project, I'm guessing, would likely be pretty much a similar group as to who was on WhoCares. Fingers crossed it's got both Hughes and Gillan on it because he's got more unfinished business with those two.

That, or he does an acoustic album. That's another area he's got more to say, I think.
