Getting those fall colors is something we do lack in Texas, as most of our trees just go brown or have a non-vibrant red or yellow.Not many fall colors yet, but these shots from years past show the view I get.

I think I first became aware of her slightly before that when she performed an Alan Bennett monologue in his Talking Head series in the 80s.
I knew she was still alive as she lived in Chichester a few miles east of here, and had opened some sort of event back in May whilst in a wheelchair.
