It would be nice if they did a few more episodes each year (well, once things are back to normal!)

Indeed. Or even their own shows, I don't care.

Watched it Friday and the whole family were laughing our butts off.

:haha2:

The ending was a bit too much "drop a cow on it" but up to that, I had a blast. Very fun to watch and the caravans were some of the best mayhem they've done in a while.

Just finished it... And I have to say Hammond's boating mishap was the most I've laughed at in a long long time! I still chuckle just by thinking about it.

Ofcourse they ended up choosing a bunch of crappy American cars but then again they always do...it's like they put out an add to buy cars that will most likely brake down! :D

So good to have the boys back again though...wish the weather had been bit nicer though as now it was bit too...well...scottish! ;D

Hammond tumps over the wee tiny boat:
:haha4:

We all laughed so hard at that one!

Finally watched it. It's good, not their best and if I'm honest a little formulaic and predictable But I do like those big American cars, and they may have been restricted with what they could do given the pandemic.

True on the predictable. But I love laughing at them, so I don't mind if they telegraph a punch.

I am only able to see the trailer, but it does look enjoyable.  I have driven many big cars.  Below is my dad's 1993 Lincoln Town Car which finally died 2 years ago.  That's why I bought another vehicle.  It measured approximately 19 feet from bumper to bumper.

^ Those were big, but also very smooth and enjoyable rides!

True that, and no problem in snow either.   :)

I've seen it, and it's a right cracker of a show. Instead of it being an epic drive, it's a montage of moments with French cars, very much like a non-special show from the old days. The bits with the propeller car and rally sport are my favorite segments.

Watched it yesterday.

It was okay...not nearly as good as Lochdown was though...felt bit cheap and pointless to be honest. But that catapult bit was hilarious...as was indeed the propeller car.

The cars themselves weren't really talked about enough at all...

One of the worst episodes of the show I'd say, but with a show of this good it still wasn't too bad at all and still made a very entertaining hour.

Ok, I've now seen it. Not their best, but not bad either.

While ultimately they were quite nice about French cars, I do feel there was a lot stereotyping of the French which probably means this won't go down well over there.

Some of it was quite good as you guys mentioned, but some of it was run-of-the-mill stuff you might have got in an episode from their earlier career.
