Kinda like how you love Ozzy Sabbath but can't stand Dio Sabbath? Or is it not a matter of singers?

As in both cases, both the singers and the music changing. Plus with Faces they ended up with a sub-par guitarist too...

I'd disagree. Ron Wood gets the job done and he's got some fun riffs in there. He's a workingman's guitar player, not a peacock center of attention like Blackmore.

I hear ya. So was Steve Marriott too, but with alot more groove. Never liked Woodsie in Stones either, that's when they started going really downhill. Seems like a pretty cool guy, though, so i get why it seems like he's friends with everyone. Liked his video/radio show, long before every other known musician had one. Cool episodes with Slash and Patty Boyd.

To me, they're a good band to relax to, for unwinding. I don't have to think too hard to get into their music and it tends to keep to easygoing topics, not a lot of stuff about messy breakups or heartache or stuff like that.

I had a bootleg (or at least a Patrick Meehan/Sabbath type release) album when I was very young (6 or 7) called "A Little Misunderstood" by Rod Stewart and The Faces, which actually turned out to be unused material by the Small Faces (with a couple Rod Stewart tunes thrown in for good measure!), which was abandoned due to Steve Marriott leaving the group.

Unfortunately, the album I had has long since gone, but this one (below) has all those same songs (more or less), and I give it regular plays on my iTunes:

"Autumn Stone" is a great track, I like to play it each fall to get into the seasonal mood.
