Holy smokes, the opening track made me sit up and take notice with the first few notes!
I need to listen to the whole of it, but I'm thinking I'll be obligated to follow my rule of buying what I like after I've given it a fair listen. I didn't care much for UH's output after Sweet Freedom, and especially with John Lawton on vox, just didn't do it for me. But this version is a great band and it's a fresh start, as far as I'm concerned.
It does very much remind me of Iced Earth, musically - so I'd expect fans of that band to get into this album. I've heard the first two tracks as I typed this, I'll finish it after my meeting coming up in 2 minutes. It's great fun, by the way, writing these forum posts in between doing work emails. :D
