Saddened that legendary & highly talented producer/sound engineer Martin Birch synonymous with producing Iron Maiden’s classic catalogue from Killers through to Fear of the Dark along with countless other classic albums from Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Blue Öyster Cult and many more has died at the age of 71.  https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/legendary-iron-maiden-and-deep-purple-producer-martin-birch-dead-at-71/

Oh man...that's sad.

Birch was without a doubt one of THE best producers in heavy metal.

Rest in peace sir! Your work will live on.
