What albums or artists do you wish you could just unhear or never listen to again?
Never mind stuff made by semi-pro bands that may have put a demo tape up on the Internet and got 3 listens, you one of the unlucky ones. There's lots of bad stuff out there.
This question is for stuff that LOTS of other people listen to, maybe even someone else here... :rolleyes: :twitch: ... someone else here likes. No reflection on the other person, but if it's like nails on the chalkboard for you and it's popular, note it below and get it off your chest.
The first one I'll mention is Radiohead. Ugh. I've *never* liked anything they've done, even if it's snuck up on me in a DJ mix. That actually happened once, when I was driving with my son to school and was playing a CD techno mix. This one song came up that just ruined my day and before I cut it off, I asked him to check on the case who was involved in track 9... yep, Radiohead. He said he liked it, and, as it turns out, he also likes Radiohead in general. I said it was more than half over and that I'd suffered enough. We agreed that we'd skip it in the car and he could rip the track from my CD.
But, yeah, I'd rather be Rickrolled than hear another Radiohead song.

Very difficult but the first names that come to my mind are obviously System of A Down, Queen of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Bon Jovi. In another genre, The Fugees, The Black Eyed Peas, '90s Euro Dance (my god !!) James Blunt, All of the Rap world without exception. This last turd is a plague on general culture nothing less.

I agree with you on the Pearl Jam and The Black Eyed Peas. I remember trying to get into them, but... nope. And the more I tried, the more I did not want to proceed with the experiment.
QOTSA I can get into, their earlier stuff. The latest dancy dance album I don't hate, but I don't like, either.

Which reminds me, I don't think I've ever heard an entire song by Nickelback.

And they're all shite, so yeah, no point in listing them all... worst of it is, even if you don't hear the whole song, the damn chorus can catch in your head like nettles on a bare leg!
