Popoff says Sabotage is the best Sabbath album... He's right, you know, for the Ozzy years. :smug:

He actually goes a bit further than that and says it’s one of the best albums of all time

I still prefer Mob Rules as the best Sabbath album of all. I do agree that Sabotage is one of the best of all time, up there with Mob Rules.

And he's definitely right about Eternal Idol: all the best songs of the Martin era landed on that album. There's good songs on other albums, but the best are on EI.

Mob Rules is a classic no doubt but it’s a little more of a streamlined 80’s metal sound where’s Heaven and Hell has that variation with a Rainbow meets Sabbath or a 70’s meets 80’s vibe to it

Mob Rules is definitely the heavier of the two, thanks in large part to Voodoo, Sign of the Southern Cross, and Falling Off the Edge of the World
