Going to be interesting how all these sporting competitions are gonna play out with the Olympics and Euro soccer cup this year. NBA could run well into the NFL season.

Most likely the Euro Footsy championships will pushed to 2021 according to a French sporting magazine:

The official announcement will be made next week.
I am guessing same will go for the olympics...which would be unheard of since the second world war.

This is why I watched Space Jam last night. :smug:
College basketball in the USA is canceled - the massive, MASSIVE Final Four tournament will not happen as scheduled.
And while Japan seems to have really done an outstanding job on controlling the outbreak in their country, will they want to let in loads of people from all around the world to come on in and cough on everything there?
And if not, what will they do with no offsetting revenue for the massive Olympic preparation costs? I envy them not one bit on that issue. Even if they have insurance, I don't envy the insurance or reinsurance firms responsible for the payout...
... sorry, gang, I always go economics. :D

The Olympics is a big question mark...but I honestly can't imagine them happening though unless this epidemic goes away as fast as it came.
BUT can they postpone them? That has NEVER EVER been done.
Since the olympiad is 4 years techincally the only solution would be to cancel the event and push everything ahead 4 years like they did during WW2. But the financial hit...good lord.

Checked the costs, $26 billion to put those on!
For the basketball players alone, it's a $654 million hit for the games they don't play: https://frntofficesport.com/nba-players-salary-impact-coronavirus/
