Yeah saw this last night...

Very sad but 103!!! That's very respectable age indeed!

The man was a true legend.

Mr. Douglas was athletic and tough, as well.  In The Vikings, they do a scene called the running of the oars.  The director wanted to use a stunt double, but Kirk insisted he could do the job.

I've not seen much of his work, but I recognise a legend when I see one.
