Bill has just posted on Facebook. It says:
The Bill Ward Band
Arrows
10.1.19
I'm presuming it's a new song, does this mean Day of Errors is history?
-
Well maybe Bill thought it was an error...
-
Error and Arrow sound a lot like each other. Maybe there was some confusion based on misinterpretation? :D

Some more details, its a tribute to the Las Vegas shootings 2 years ago.

Good on him for doing that. The song has a strong Beatles vibe to it.
I appreciate it but I probably wouldn't listen to it again.
-
Quite a throwaway generic song to be honest...Beatles vibe is a good way to describe it which may or may not be a good thing depending if one likes Beatles or not..I do not.

I got part way into it and the vocals were just not doing it for me. Gonna give it a pass...
-
Yeah, I couldn't listen to the whole thing either. I'm kind of a "Bill Ward solo stuff nut swinger" too, and I was like: I've got better things to do than sit here and listen to this!

Bill's new track with Day of Errors "Ghost Train". On first listen it's not too bad.
-
^^^^^^
Agreed, not bad.
-
^^^ Yep, Liking this much better!
-
Much more bearable than the other one. :)

Yep. The repetition of "I am the ghost train" annoys me. Maybe it's the guy's voice. The song did prompt me to listen to "Locomotive Breath" by Jethro Tull, "Love Train" by the O'Jays, Blackfoot's "Train, Train", "Locomotive" by the one and only Motorhead, and wrapped it up with "Crazy Train" by some guy named Ozzy.
Not sure what that says about "Ghost Train", but it is better than his previous release.
-
^ You forgot "Train Kept a-Rollin'". The Johnny Burnette version is the manic riff that so many other bands have copied.

Hmm... I'm not impressed...the lyrics are pretty horrible...I mean....come on... I am the ghost train? Really?
It's bit too basic stuff again...

I'm not saying it's epic, but it's a little bit catchy. :)
