We Sold Our Souls for Rock 'n Roll the long-lost 2001 documentary filmed at the 1999 Ozzfest has suddenly turned up on YouTube. Made by Penelope Spheeris( The Decline of Western Civilisation series, Wayne's World, Black Sheep) it initially showed at film festivals in 2001 but for some reason never received a wide release.
Features performances and behind the scenes footage from Black Sabbath, Slayer, System Of A Down, Primus, Fear Factory and others.
It did show up up online a few years ago but was taken down soon after, so watch it while you can. Not the best quality but still very watchable.

To think this was only 20 years ago. How times have changed. Quite a few people in it are no longer alive due to the excesses of the lifestyle.
A very entertaining(decadent) watch.

Yep didn't think it would last long. Now been taken down.
Anyone get to have a squizz? Was some good performance and behind the scenes Sabbath stuff.

Damn...missed this.

I missed it too. Didn't have a chance to view it yesterday. Was intending to do it today. :squint:

Dam! Was really good. Was thinking about it a long time after I watched it. Some crazy shit was on it.

Yeah I know. Probably would've today but I was in a hurry to just watch it as I thought it could get taken down at any moment.
