I'd always read interviews with drummers where they cited Rich as an influence, or read how guys like Ward and Paice developed a sound reminiscent of Buddy Rich... I finally got off my digital butt and checked the man out, and I was mesmerized!

He could make a chopstick and plywood sound amazing, is my guess.  :drummer:
