Been listening to Presence and I think it’s such an underrated album, with Achilles Last Stand and Tea For One being some great tunes.
What do y’all think?

Tea for One definitely is a great track from that album, one I enjoy along with Hots on for Nowhere and Nobody's Fault.
But Achilles Last Stand... to me, it doesn't hold on repeated listenings. I *want* it to be an awesome epic that I play over and over but... nope. Compared to something like Rainbow's Stargazer/Light in the Black, it pales.

For Your Life is one of my favorites with Achille and Nobody's Fault .
I love all the monstrous and unstoppable bass drum works.

Ahhh yes, Stargazer/Light In The Black, now you’re talking Z. :rhythm:

The thing about Presence is that the band really seems tired. I know that they had had some illness prior to going into the studio and that there was a car accident Page and Plant were involved in or something like that... but it's like they're not all 100% together on every track. Things aren't flowing like they used to.

Isn’t during that time Jimmy was on Heroine? Hence the song Tea For One.
-
Yeah, Page was on heroin by then, not as bad as how it would be for him and Page for ITTOD. That's why there are so many song credits for John Paul Jones on that album, he basically got to take over with the rest of the band overdoing it on the drink and drugs.

I think Tea for One is about Plants feeling enduring long lonely moments away from his family.

Just did some reading Tyr66, that's exactly what it's about and during his recuperation from his car accident in Rhodes.

H is some bad shit, the results showed in the progression of the music they had delved into because of it, though not bad, they didn't sell as good as their other albums.
