With the prospect of Tony Iommi possibly recording a new solo album with different singers as was his 2000 solo album, which ten new singers would you like him to collaborate and record with? Also incude at least one female singer.
Mine would be
Rob Halford
Bruce Dickinson
James Hetfield
Dave Mustaine
Chuck Billy
Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth
Blackie Lawless
Corey Taylor
Tobias Forge
Amy Lee

Well we already had this conversation on the other thread so I'm just copying my list from there and adding two:
Tim Ripper Owens naturally
Robert Lowe
Lee Dorrian
Veronica Freeman
Alice Cooper
Joey Belladonna
Ian Gillan
Jon Oliva
Doro Pesch
Mike Howe
This is an all metal list...he had bit too many non metal singers on the first album.

I really don’t like this multi singer idea, he should use just one.

Well as long as it ain't Glenn Hughes I'd be okay with that too!

Me too do that.
A new band with Geezer and Bill releasing a double album; side Gillan and side Halford, all five writing together.
Iommi II with Robert Plant, Alice Cooper, James Hetfield, Mike Patton, Jack White, Björk, Lee Dorian, Coverdale with Hughes backing and co-op with Rage Against The Machine (to give him a fair chance at good Rap Metal :P )
Adding Attila Csihar, Elton John (about time he did something good again), Brian May & Roger Taylor (Vocals & Drums), John Lydon and King Diamond.
Really bummed i can't put Chris Cornell and David Bowie on the list...

Willie Nelson

Id rather Tony form a supergroup of sorts. That way he can tour on it or at least play some shows. It would certainly garner more interest and hype. But I still like the idea of a solo album with multiple singers. Iommi was a great solo album. Not a bad or average song on it. Every choice of singer was a fine choice, they all had a certain amount of star power and delivered great performances.

Except he won't tour anymore...that's why they ended Sabbath.
So it's all about making albums now for Tony.
Also I'm okay with that. He has done enough touring already in his years...he doesn't need to do it anymore. But new music...hell to the !

^^Yeah I realise that which is why I said "some shows". He doesn't have to do long tours. Just 2week tours sparingly here and there or select shows. He could've even just base himself in Vegas for a short stint and make people come to him.

Never really been into singers myself. I just figure them to be another instrument in the band.

I’m into singers, just not into the multiple singers on an album.

I would probably prefer he chose one good singer and stuck with them for an entire album, but if he goes the multiple singer route I wouldn't be unduly bothered.
You guys have mentioned some good names, I'm going to throw some non-metal singers in there as I feel the first album was better for having a mix of styles:
Mel C - a capable singer and should have gone in a more rock direction after the "girls" split.
Roger Daltrey
Toni-Marie Iommi maybe? A bit of nepotism never did anyone any harm!
Geddy Lee
Eric Clapton
Stevie Nicks
Tom Jones (no, seriously!)

I was gonna suggest Melanie but I decided not to as I thought it would lead into a nasty back lash from certain members but I agree with you Charlie 100% she'd do great! She is a fantastic singer and has a lot of power and softness in her voice when needed.

I'm sure it could work with Annie Lennox .

If you are being serious about Annie, I’ve always like her voice and also think it would work.

I agree. I would love to see Iommi explore some boundaries and try stuff out that he's not normally associated with. Particularly an acoustic album, I would love to have that from Tony.
