I just woke up from a dream in which the Mk2 lineup reformed, Gillan and Blackmore having put their differences behind them totally, and Blackmore played very well on the advance track I got to hear.
Jon Lord did keyboards or, rather, an AI programmed to play like Jon Lord... sounded very realistic. I suppose they'd use a hologram for the tour.
In my dream, I saw articles about how Morse was cool with it and press like that.
After I woke up, I had to think real hard about the upcoming album title before I realized I had had a very vivid dream.

Were Blackmore and Gillan holograms too? Or maybe they underwent reprogramming to make them put their bad blood behind them.
Would be a nice reality, though maybe with Airey subbing for Lord instead of an AI.

I've had something like this too in the past...I think one was about Tony Martin doing an album with guest musicians and I think few DAYS later I went online to check who those people were and found nothing about it...and just then it hit me that it had been a dream...
Also I think I had one about hearing a new unreleased DIO song from the Magica II sessions...I think it was after Doug had mentioned something about having one...It's strange how the mind works sometimes..
I think it would kind of be a nice way to end it all with Purple if they would get Ritchie and maybe even Hughes and Coverdale for one very last show...But then again seeing the ammount of passion (or lack there of to be exact) Ritchie has been playing with Rainbow I'm not sure I would actually want it after all...

I'd love it as a one-off, but only if Blackmore wasn't bored with it and doing it for the money.
