What's an "epic tune"? It's a tune that's epic, dude! :rockon:
Basically, it's long, has multiple parts, and is long. Zeppelin made a bunch of 'em, and it's time we had some action on them.

How about that, I got 20... sounds like another H/H game. :smug:
But I've got a new twist in the rules. I want to add a booster/buster element and see how this plays out.
What we do is prior to assigning points, we give ten choices a plus, then a minus to the other ten. Basically, we're deciding what we consider to be the tops and what we consider to be the bottoms. In this case, since they're all just songs, you can give a listen to one you don't know and then decide if it's in the top half or the bottom half.
Songs that get all + marks will go to the top tier to battle it out. Songs that get all - marks go to the bottom tier to see who's the best of the worst. Songs with a mix will be in the middle ground. If there are fewer than 6 in the top or bottom tiers, we can fill out the numbers with choices that were predominantly + or -, as appropriate.
Each member gets one round of +/- voting and then, after 2 days of that or 10 votes, whichever comes first, we break them out into categories, give 'em 20 points, and have at it.
If this works out, it might be something we'd like to try for other battles of this sort.

Top tier: WtLB, TSRtS, TRS, NQ, TYG, ItE
Middle tier: HMMT, StH, ALS, NFBM, TFO, FitR, C, WaT
Bottom tier: DaC, WLL, SIBLY, IMToD, K, ItL
So that's 6-8-6, looks nice. If someone came in and gave a minus to everything with two pluses and a plus to everything with two minuses and then random on the middle, we'd then have a top 10 and a bottom 10, still manageable.

You know, I might just keep the + - thing... not really seeing a reason to rank them as such. We may just see only 3 votes, or maybe only 1 or 2 albums with all plusses or all but one plus after 2 or 3 more votes.
