Love this thread... For the radio show I help my mom with, we composed a playlist of songs with gibberish titles from the fifties and early sixties. I had 78 on the playlist...

Slim Gaillard actually invented a language he called "Vout" and used its words in many of his compositions.

It's Slim reading off an Arabic restaurant menu, basically. He worked in one and became fluent in Arabic as a result of said employment.
