Having heard Dave Walker's stuff with Black Sabbath, I conclude that, had he stayed with the band, he would have sent them towards a much bluesier direction. The Ozzy years would still be recognized as formative for heavy metal, but the Walker years as something of getting back to basics before the band split up to do solo work.
And then Iommi would have had quite a bit more freedom to do a solo album and not a contractually-obligated Black Sabbath album...
But I don't think that Walker would have lasted more than an album or two, definitely no more than three. And I think that the band would have just split up at that point rather than look for a new singer.

When you say "Walker's Stuff" do you mean that there is more than his version of "Juniors Eyes"?

No, that's about all. It's a stuff of one.
