How do we get more (active) members for The Community?
I think we need more people.

Spam places like Blabbermouth and other FB metal news sites. I've been thinking of mentioning it on the Metallica boards also but I'm not really sure about that.

Well first of all if you have friends that would be interested ask them...

It will take some time before this will start showing up in search engines...also I'm not entirely sure how easy this would be to find anyways.

Forums aren't all that popular anymore anyways. I'd rather have this be a smaller place with great people than a big place with a lot of assholes.

Keep posting stuff and creating threads. It'll be a few months of operation yet, but when Google search bots start to index our content, people wanting answers about rock, roll, metal, etc. will find our site in the results. Of those, a percentage will sign up and get active.

Activity generates activity. :)

Still think this is a good idea, though. Yeah, it might give us a very huge number of members, but there'll still only be a core that's active. We already have half a member list with members with zero or less than 5 posts.
But that will be a job for those of you who frequent such places...

Face it, we'll be just as chatty with 5000 members as with 50. It's just that with 5000 members, maybe we get 3 or 4 more as chatty as we are.

This is a free-for-all opinions, as long as people behave, so it doesn't really matter what their interests are. Doesn't have to be centered around one band or something, but liking Rock music ofcourse helps.  :rhythm:
