This is kind of a game. Basically, try to pick a song that you think nobody's listened to in a really long time. Not that they've never heard, just one that it's been a long, long time since they've last had it grace their ears. At least a month or more, basically, but hopefully something like five years or more. And the best way to play is against yourself... to see if others are in the same situation with regards that tune as you are.
For example, I know I haven't heard this one in a LONG time:
Next poster, say how long it's been since you've heard that song and then come up with a song you think it's been as long or longer for the poster after you, and so on.

Being 11-12 at the time, along with the darkness of Sabbath and others, the speed and "being cool" of that early transition from Skate Punk to Pop Punk was also big. At that time... :P
Still play both this album, Americana and Green Day - Dookie from time to time, though, for nostalgia. :rhythm: :whistling:

I still find it both facinating and funny that an anti-authoritarian anarchist band of squatters managed to become a mainstream one hit wonder, even despite they encouraged their not-so-well-off fans to rather steal the album from big chains instead of buying it.

Clue; they were high school mates, and Les Claypool've auditioned for his band, which have become somewhat an (in)famous story.
Would be interesting to know what'd happened to that band if they had brought him along.
You can hardly see it's him in the video, though, but (if memory serves right) he's the one to the far left of the "group shot" while they're fishing in the background while the band is playing.

Supergrass never really made it pass the debut single around these parts, but g'damn, even that is a (in hindsight) perfect British 90's pop tune, perfect mix of Oasis, Blur and faux pas Beatles.
