This is a tough choice for me, but I put Purpendicular first, with Now What?! a very close second. Abandon and Infinite may as well be tied for third. TROTD is a mixed bag for me, but I consider it to be much better than Bananas, which I really really had a hard time getting into and wondered if the band was going off the rails again.
But that opening for "Ted the Mechaninc"... hooked me and kept me hooked. The whole album is rock and roll for people whose knees hurt, which really describes the whole Morse period. It can rock hard, but it's not trying to kill anyone like the band did with "Speed King".

Purpendicular for me too but Infinite is very close second...a very close indeed.
I love every one of these albums, but if I'd have to choose a weaker one it would be Rapture Of The Deep. Lots of great material on that one too but it's just not quite as great as all the others.
I love Bananas, the fruit and the album! House Of Pain, Silver Tongue, Walk On, I Got Your Number Bananas and Doing It Tonight are brilliant tracks in my book.
Purpendicular doesn't really have a single bad track on it...that is their second best album after Machine Head in my book.

I think so, it really is that amazing. I could put it ahead of Fireball, when I think about it.
But Bananas... the opening track, the title track, and "Contact Lost" I could appreciate, but the others just lost me. And I tried to get into it, I really did.
