Title: Bill Ward, the calm madman
Post by: Billy Underdog on February 25, 2018, 04:42:58 AM

A fantastic introduction of the man into some hall-of-fame-thingy.

Sabbath would've been NOTHING without this guy.

Whatever you're into, raise it to him

We've got Ozzy and Tonys autobiographies, now let's get Geezers and Bills!

Thanks for posting, Billy. Congratulations to Bill! I wish he would create more music like he did on Accountable Beasts. My favourite album of all of at least the last decade.

Pretty cool how knowledgeable and passionate Bill still is about Metal.

It's funny how up in arms "we" the metal community get when certain bands or artist aren't inducted into the RRHOF or when other heavy rock/metal bands get in before other heavy  rock/metal bands but yet no one bats an eyelid at the fact Don Airey got into the Hall of Heavy Metal History before Bill or any other original member of Sabbath or member of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.

What the... ???   ;)

Bill's passion for metal is almost somewhat ironic when you think of all the light and shade in his solo music. Perhaps he has the most out of all the original Sabs.

You name it. I too am surprised how enthusiastic Bill is about metal, while at the same time metal presents only about 1/5 or less of the musical styles in his solo stuff. Bill's musical abilities are so much more diverse (which personally I find great).

Most definitely. His creative abilities could have gone to good use during the 2011-17 reunion, but that's another thread entirely. If he's happy with what he does, that's all I need.
