....Better or worse?
Well my years have been steadily worsening for 40 some years now and every time I think the bottom has been reached a new low appears...
It's nice to know there are things to look foward to in the new year!
Happy New Year to the Community!

Just over 6 hours away from the New Year starting here in Texas. There will be good times as well as bad in the year ahead, but friends make the good times better and the bad times bearable. :)

Happy New Year to you all
And Great Britain is looking forward to re-admitting the USA back into the Commonwealth!! :D >:D

Happy New Year everyone!!!
As far as better year or worse, I'm looking forward to a much better year (and hard to believe the US's Bicentennial was 50 damn years ago).

The Up With People performance at the Super Bowl that year is burned on my mind. Fortunately, I also have the memories of what the teams did that day. :)

I had forgotten about Up With People. No thanks for the reminder - ahhhhhhh! (As I attempt to shove it back into the void of oblivion).
I don't recall watching the SB that year - but those Up the Wazoo jokers were all over the place and would not go away. Like a bad STD.

I could share a YouTube link to their performance...
... huh, the code won't paste in, I think the forum's rejecting the content.
So I'll just go with how I'm about to go in to sub for a Blues DJ this morning. Got some great electric blues on tap from 9am-noon, US Central Time (about 1 hour and a few mins after I post this) and if you want to listen, it'll be on www.knon.org. I'll be Steve the Cockroach, that's my broadcast DJ name on 89.3FM. I'm Dallas Parker when I do the funk/soul streaming show on Mondays. Yes, the Johnny Fever coffee mug of names is real in radio.
