A new Ozzy book called LAST RITES came out this week and I bought a copy as I got a good deal on it!
The book is written by writer Chris Ayres who was behind the previous Ozzy books I Am Ozzy and Trust Me I'm Dr. Ozzy.
But again (as with I Am Ozzy) it is written (and presented) like it's Ozzy's own work...which to me is Hilarious and takes me back to the way Ozzy has pretty much always worked taking full credit of someone elses work.
The book starts off at the No More Tours II and the events that followed.
I'm looking forward in reading this one as I am sure (as it is based mostly on Ozzy just telling stories to Ayres) it'll will have some hilarious moments along with rather dire ones too.

Good to know.
In the Death thread, I had mentioned this was coming in October (reply #154). :)

Ah yes...I had a feeling this book was talked about somewhere! But it deserves a thread of it's own I think.

Just ordered mine. :partay:

The girlfiend bougt the book this week...
She loved The Osbournes TV series... couldn't really care less about the music!

I picked it up a few days ago and I got 25% off
Should be a fun read

The publisher of that book got my money as well - haven't dug into it yet but it's on deck. I actually have not read any of his other books, so this should be pretty cool.

I am about half way through it now....
I have found myself enjoying it quite a bit...although it is bit sporadic at times and the subject matter can chance in one paragraph quite a bit...but then again that IS very Ozzy like now isn't it!
Chris Ayres does a pretty good job putting Ozzy's what I can only imagine pretty discombobulated thoughts down...and there are quite a few little laugh out loud moments among the rather bleak ones.

Finished the book about 3 days ago and I agree with Charger's description. An enjoyable and well put together read. The last couple of lines in the book says it all.

Finished the book about a week ago or so...
Forgot to mention that.
I enjoyed it a lot. I am assuming some of the final parts were Ayres talking in Ozzy's words but it didn't matter...there needed to be a certain ending to the book.
I am glad this was released.

Agreed. Finished it a while back - worth the time to read it.
