He totally did it.

I can't say if he did it or not... Jury said no...so that's the end of it.

But he was super funny in The Naked Gun! That's how I'll always remember him...as Nordberg.

As I recall it, there was plenty of evidence showing him to be the culprit (and it didn't help when he led the cops on a slow-roll "chase" on the highway). But, for reasons that defy logic, the police/prosecution decided to try and frame him. For a crime everything they had already showed he did it.

Once the defense caught the cops in a lie or two, it was all over. They could have had video tape in techni-color showing him do it, and it would not have mattered.

Cops "Yeah, ok, we lied about those things. But this other stuff is on the up and up. Honest!"

Once your integrity is hosed, there's no going back.

And he was great in The Naked Gun!

Criminal jury said not guilty.

Civil jury said liable for the deaths.

Norm MacDonald's constant roasts of OJ on SNL were legend.
